Who can apply?
The MSc in Molecular Biomedicine is open to graduates from universities, technological institutes, and polytechnic schools with academic backgrounds in the Health or Life Sciences. These may include disciplines such as Medicine, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Biotechnology, (Bio)informatics and other closely related fields.
Applicants from Non-Biological Backgrounds: Candidates with degrees outside the biological sciences may still apply, provided they can demonstrate a basic understanding of molecular biology. If selected for an interview, they may be asked to provide evidence of this knowledge.

FOR INCOMING STUDENTS (MSc students enrolled at a Erasmus+ partner university abroad)
The MSc in Molecular Biomedicine is a selective program. Erasmus+ mobility students are not given priority. However, exceptional candidates may be considered based on:
• Academic performance
• Laboratory or research experience
• English language proficiency
• Reference letters

When applying from abroad, please ensure that you indicate the correct affiliation of our MSc program: Department (School) of Medicine – NKUA (and not the Department of Biology – NKUA). Incorrect information may result in administrative delays.

FOR OUTGOING STUDENTS TO SORBONNE UNIVERSITY (MSc students enrolled at the MSc Molecular Biomedicine program)
Within the framework of the privileged partnership between our MSc program and the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Sorbonne University (SU) in Paris, France, the Medical School - NKUA specifically offers up to 5 mobility scholarships to our MSc students enabling them to undertake their studies and rotations during their 2nd/Spring semester (1st Year) at SU.

IMPORTANT:
• Mobility for Outgoing Students can be performed only during our MSc 2nd/Spring semester (1st Year)
• The deadline for the nomination of selected Erasmus+ students by partner universities for the 2nd/Spring semester (1st Year) is typically around 15 OCTOBER each year. If you are interested in applying for this mobility opportunity, please inform us of your intention well in advance, preferably as soon as you receive your acceptance to our MSc program in late JULY.
